Few fibers have as much to live up to as cashmere. Its unmistakable softness is legendary – a material long associated with comfort and quiet luxury. So when we set out to create our first cashmere collection, we wanted to honor that legacy while making something distinctly Son of a Tailor.
After years of development, we’re proud to present our Cashmere Collection – our most refined offering to date. Unlike much of today’s mass-market cashmere, often made with recycled fibers and chemical softeners, ours is crafted from 100% virgin cashmere wool, combed and spun in Italy, with no synthetics or additives. The result: natural softness, warmth, and integrity – cashmere as it was meant to be. Something you can feel, not just know.

Made to order in Portugal
Once spun in Italy by Linsieme – a family-owned mill with over 40 years of yarn expertise – our cashmere is knitted and finished to order by FATEXTIL, our trusted partner in Penafiel. Led by Fernando, a master knitter with decades of experience, the team of 38 combines technical precision with true craftsmanship.
Using advanced Shima Seiki whole-garment machines, FATEXTIL produces each piece seamlessly – no cuts, no joins, and under 1% production waste. The result: refined knitwear made with care and quiet confidence.
Cashmere Sweater
The foundation of the collection. The Cashmere Sweater shows what happens when simplicity meets the world’s most luxurious fiber – soft, airy, and elegantly understated. Its matte surface and smooth drape make it the kind of knit that looks refined but feels effortless.
Knitted from 100% Italian-spun cashmere, it’s naturally warm, breathable, and incredibly soft against the skin. Subtle rib details at the cuffs and hem lend quiet structure without weight, creating a silhouette that’s timeless and versatile.

Cashmere Half-Zip Sweater
A classic reinterpreted in pure cashmere. The Half-Zip Sweater balances functionality and refinement, offering warmth and softness in equal measure. Zip it up for definition or leave it open for a more easy look – it adapts effortlessly to the day.
Spun from 100% Italian cashmere, its medium weight and smooth texture bring gentle structure without bulk. The double-layer ribbed collar adds comfort and subtle shape, while wide ribs at the hem and cuffs ensure it keeps its form, wear after wear.

Cashmere Hoodie
A comfort piece elevated by craftsmanship. The Cashmere Hoodie reworks a casual staple into something refined – relaxed in feel, precise in execution. Designed without drawstrings or excess detail, it’s soft, tactile, and quietly luxurious.
Knitted entirely from Italian-spun cashmere, it has a supple hand-feel and an unforced drape that moves with you. The double-layer hood adds warmth and volume, while clean ribs at the cuffs and hem maintain balance and structure.

Soft armor for winter. The Cashmere Scarf offers immediate warmth without weight – the kind of comfort that turns cold days into small pleasures. Light, breathable, and endlessly versatile, it’s the perfect finishing touch for any outfit.
Woven from 100% Italian-spun cashmere, it combines softness and insulation with a fluid drape. Subtle rib edging keeps its shape, while generous proportions allow for looping, wrapping, or a simple over-the-shoulder throw.
