We’re excited to introduce Made For, a new editorial series that explores the lives, passions, and perspectives of our customers, celebrating their personal style and what makes it their own.

For our first feature, we spoke with Anton, a Copenhagen-based photographer whose work captures people with honesty and style. From the fast-paced energy of Fashion Week to quiet moments on the streets, Anton brings a unique perspective shaped by his background in both photography and digital commerce.

Your photography captures people in an honest yet stylish way. What do you look for when shooting someone?

I love this question, mostly because my answer has evolved over the years. In what I do, everything is often fast-paced, so I tend to look for the calm and candid moments.

Whether that be conversations among fashion peers, stylish power walking (these I love as they test the shutter speed & tracking focus) or just closer details, all to get that one shot that really counts.

You’ve worked both in photography and digital e-commerce. How do those two worlds influence each other in the way you approach your projects?

I always like to say that my business acumen from the corporate world allowed me to grow into my now alternate world within photography. Whether that be how I manage expectations, or how I see imagery working across digital platforms, which is a big rule I follow, when it comes to creating content for web platforms.

Which camera or piece of equipment do you consider essential to your photography and art?

It would have to be my Leica Q3 camera. It was a gift to myself after years of shooting. I wanted something that would keep the love I have for photography burning, and the Q3 has allowed me to slow things down, creatively, in a good way.

Now that you’re based in Copenhagen, how does the city’s design culture and atmosphere shape your work and personal style?

Honestly? I’ve never been a big fan of the design and arty stuff previously. I was more about capturing people rather than objects. But over time, I’ve sort of come to realize more what it is about Copenhagen that everyone gravitates to. The minimalism, the clean lines… it’s infectious.

If you had to pick one go-to piece of Son of a Tailor clothing that makes you feel most like yourself, what would it be?

This is an easy one to answer - it’s the Knit Shirt. It has been the winner for me since it launched earlier this summer.

It’s just great, in both a formal and casual style. Also, going back to the point of Copenhagen's design culture, I’ve actually seen myself taking a liking to simpler shapes and minimalism when it comes to clothing too. I have to admit, I’ve fallen into that classic trap of mostly wearing black and navy colors!
